Full Stack Engineer — AI Products at VoiceLap

What you’ll do

• Build responsive, accessible product interfaces and the APIs that support them.
• Integrate AI and speech services into clear, trustworthy user journeys.
• Own features across planning, implementation, testing, release, and iteration.
• Improve frontend performance, error handling, analytics, and cross-device consistency.
• Collaborate closely with design and backend engineering on maintainable product architecture.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time, fully remote role for applicants based in India. We do not require a specific degree; equivalent practical skills and evidence of learning are welcome.

What we’re looking for

• Practical experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, Python, databases, REST APIs, and browser fundamentals.
• Care for semantic HTML, accessibility, responsive design, and useful automated tests.
• Ability to reason about data flow, authentication, failures, and production performance.
• A product mindset and comfort taking ownership beyond a narrow layer of the stack.

Helpful, not required

• Experience with React, Vite, Express, MongoDB, TypeScript, or design systems.
• Experience shipping streaming, audio, real-time, or AI-assisted interfaces.
• Evidence of a complete product you designed, built, and deployed.
